Hearts That Purr was so honored to be visited by Pat Parris KGUN9 news anchor on January 30, 2025 to film the sanctuary and interview some humans and pet the kitties! It was all for the month of February's "The Giving Project – Doing Well, by Doing Good" in partnership with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. Each month, Pat and his co-anchor Concetta Callahan feature a different charity organization that is making an impact in our community and encourages donations. We are so honored that Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians was be featured each week in Febriary on KGUN9 news in an effort to raise awareness and encourage donations. We're so thrilled that we raised over $17,900 which included a $500 grant from CFSA. Thank you so much to all involved! If you missed seeing the story live, you may still see several segments of the story on KGUN 9's website here:
